A Community Center in Spokane Is Soaked with Water
It does not take long for a broken water pipe to deposit standing water on a wood floor. This Spokane multi-purpose building needed a fast resolution to the intruding water. The physical nature of this area was highly susceptible to significant water damage if left untreated. Most of the water was vacuumed and mopped up. The Before Photo depicts the billowing "tent" placed over the wood flooring to reduce the treatment volume. Heated air movers are rapidly directing the water vapor from the affected area out of the building via the silver flex ducts. This moisture extraction was monitored to prevent the wood from drying too rapidly and splitting. Our SERVPRO crew, trained applied structural drying technicians, salvage distressed building elements, and save our clients dollars, disturbances, and rebuilding problems. The floor was restored to its preloss condition "Like it never even happened."
